Firefly Farms

This wonderful cheesemaker provides us our delicious fresh chevre and aged goat cheeses. Their award winning Maryland-made cheeses can be found all over the DC Metro area and beyond.

Little Wild Things City Farm

Our microgreens can’t get any more local than these! Little Wild Things City Farm shares the same quadrant as Eat & Smile, making their home in NE DC just like us. In fact, the microgreens are delivered to us alive and still growing, and we cut what we need, then send back the empty box for new plants to be grown for us.

Blueberry Hill Farm

A third-generation Lancaster County family farm specializing in vegetables and fruits – including delicious varieties of their namesake!

Cedarbrook Organic Farm

Our source for all things porcine. David Ober raises Tamworth Heritage Breed Hogs at his 60 acre woodland farm outside Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia. His pigs feast on wild nuts, roots, wild mushrooms, and whatever else they can rustle from the landscape. We use his pigs to make our bacon, sausages, cured meats, and anything else that calls for pork. He sells at the Dupont, White House, and H St Farmers Markets.

Clear Spring Creamery

Operated by Mark and Clare Seibert in Clear Spring, MD, they provide us with creamline milk, yogurt, cream, and butter. Certified organic in 2010, the Seibert’s dairy is the best one around. You can find Clear Spring products at the Dupont Farmers Market, as well as the Takoma Park and Falls Church Farmers Markets.

EcoFriendly Foods

This incredible coalition of farmers in the area all raise free-range and mostly organic meat and poultry. Beef, goat, lamb, chicken, rabbit, and more are delivered to us by Bev Eggleston and his band of merry farmers. Find their fine quality products at the Dupont Farmers Market, as well as Union Market. 2012 Good Food Award Winner.

Endless Summer Harvest

A wonderful purveyor of lettuce and other greens. They are a hydroponic facility in Maryland that uses their proprietary technology to reduce their water consumption by over 75%, far beyond the practices of a normal lettuce farming operation. We get their fresh and healthy greens all year long! You can too at the Dupont and Penn Quarter Farmers Markets.

Garners Produce

A family owned and operated farm located on Virginia’s Northern Neck, Garners has over 110 acres under production of fruits, vegetables, herbs, plants, and flowers. You can find them at the Thursday Penn Quarter Farmers Market, the 14th & U Farmers Market, as well as the Bloomingdale Farmers Market.

Spring Valley Farm & Orchard

A family owned and operated farm just outside of Romney, West Virginia where owners Eli & Misty grow diversified fruits & vegetables on 200 acres using IPM practices for plant and land health.

One of the great things about catering is that we get to work in such a wide variety of venues! From private residences, to historic buildings, to farms, art galleries, theaters, and conservation/nature centers, we have spanned a large variety of venues over our many years. Below are some venues that we intimately know; some of these venues we are highlighted as their preferred caterer. Don’t see your venue on this list? We love getting to know new spaces, too, and can create a kitchen virtually anywhere!
